Lithium Australia (ASX:LIT) has continued its land rush, adding lithium ground in Queensland to its palate.It told its investors this morning that it had picked up a series of permits in Far North Queensland covering a total are of 1380 sq.km – an area which LIT says displays all the hallmarks of a potential lithium development but has never been treated as such.The area in question is about 350km northwest of Cairns, and mica mining has taken place in the area previously, while pegmatites are known to be in the area.In addition to the lithium potential of the play, graphite has been identified in quartzite in the region.
